PLAN UPDATE FROM THE MORRIS COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR:
Earlier this summer, a survey was completed and contact information was compiled and provided to E-Fm Consulting, Inc., as required for the first step in developing a Hazard Mitigation Plan for Morris County.
Planning Committee Meetings were held on October 27, 2009 and on February 22, 2010.
The first public meeting to discuss the draft mitigation plan will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010, at 7 pm at the Morris County Courthouse Meeting Room. The general public and representatives of the numerous jurisdictions in the county are encouraged to attend.
