Immediate Response Information System registration process:
- Immediate Response Information System (IRIS), will send alerts to the communication devices you choose (your home phone, cell phone, work phone, and email) in case of impending or occurring emergencies.
- IRIS will stop calling once you pick up the phone. For example, if you answer your cell phone during a red alert and you have your cell phone number as Phone Number 1, IRIS will not call Phone Number 2 or 3.
- Also, if you’d like to receive SMS text messages on your mobile phone, simply check the corresponding SMS field next to that phone number.
