January 1                        Real property valuation date

March 1                            Real property Change of Value Notices 
                                             (CVN's) mailed to property owners,  
                                             unless an extension is granted by
                                             Property Valuation Division (PVD)

March 15                         Personal property assessment 
                                             renditions due (Late filing penalties
                                             begin after this date)

                                            Real property appeal period is within
                                             30 days from the mailing date printed
                                            on the CVN.  (Appeal forms are available)

April 1                              Oil & Gas renditions are due (Late filing
                                             penalties begin after this date)

May 1                                 Personal property valuation notices
                                             mailed to property owner

May 15                               Deadline for filing valuation appeal
                                             on personal property

June 15                             County Appraiser certifies the appraisal
                                              rolls to the County Clerk
