Appraiser
Responsibilities
Our office maintains maps of the county, ownership and valuation records of each property in the county. By Kansas statute, our office is responsible for the valuation of all property in Morris County which includes real estate, personal property and oil and gas. An important thing to remember is the Morris County Appraiser's Office does not create value. People determine value by their transactions in the market place. The Morris County Appraiser's Office simply has the legal responsibility to analyze those transactions and appraise individual properties based upon what is happening in the market place. Please contact our office with any questions you may have about your property.
