March 3: SPECIAL ELECTION DAY
Polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
March 4: Voter Registration Re-Opens. KSA 25-2311
March 9: Canvass of Election Votes (11:00 a.m.)
Primary Election- August 4, 2026
June 1: Filing and Withdrawal Deadline (12 noon). KSA 25-205; KSA 25-305(a), KSA-306(a)
June 1: Deadline for questions to be placed on the Primary Election ballot.
June 1: Deadline to change party affiliation for Democrats and Republicans (12 noon). Prohibited until Sept. 1st , 2026. Unaffiliated may affiliate at any time HB 2210
June 20: Deadline to mail Federal Service Ballots- 45 days before Election. KSA 25-1220
July 14: Registration books close. Last day to register. KSA 25-2311(3)
July 15: Advance Voting by Mail begins – 20 days prior to election. KSA 25-1122(f), KSA 25-1123(a)
